Bouygues Telecom launches its segmented TV offering with the sales houses of France Télévisions, Groupe M6, and Groupe TF1

4 min

Segmented TV is now a reality for 1.5 million households equipped with Bouygues Telecom boxes. Specifically, those who have consented to the use of their data for advertising purposes will be exposed to personalized screens, based on precise targeting criteria, such as place of residence, affinity for programs, or interests, for example*. This offering is available to advertisers of the sales houses of France Télévisions, Groupe M6, and Groupe TF1.

Consent and operation

Bouygues Telecom indeed collects the consent of its customers for exposure to personalized advertising screens on behalf of the channels. This collection is done once at the time of installation of the Bouygues Telecom TV box, via a dedicated screen. The customer can then decide whether or not they wish to receive personalized advertisements and has the possibility to finely adjust their choices. They are free to change their mind at any time via their box. In addition, their consent is only valid for a given period, and Bouygues Telecom will regularly ask if they maintain their authorization.

*The solution also offers the possibility of using advertiser data and third-party data.
